WHAT IS Mindful Living?

Mindful Living

Mindful Living is all about seeing things as they are; intentionally paying attention to our body, emotions, thoughts and the world around us.  It's about learning to be here in the present moment all with a sense of non-judging awareness and acceptance. Meeting ourselves and the world around us with kindness and compassion.



                                                                                                              


Mindfulness

Mindfulness is a natural state of awakened presence .  It is intentionally slowing down, paying attention and creating space to experience whatever is arising and meeting whatever is arising with acceptance, non judgement and with kindness.  Mindfulness is the foundation for mindful living. 




Meditation

Meditation is the deliberate training of our attention. It is the formal practice and discipline.  Just as physical exercise trains and shapes the body, meditation trains and shapes the mind. 

The Practice

Mindfulness Meditation  is a specific form of meditation practice that focuses on cultivating awareness & compassion, by paying attention to our experience  in a sustained and particular way: on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgmentally.
