We want to support your home practice of mindfulness and help you rediscover this great mystery we are involved with. Explore these beautiful guided mediations based on the Vipassana tradition and Insight Meditation practice. Start a daily routine of dedicating time for mindfulness and experience life more fully.
This guided meditation uses a body scan to anchor the awareness into the present moment. By relaxing and focusing the attention on the body we by default connect to presence. Our bodies are always in the present moment.... there is no other place for our body to be. Connecting our awareness to the body is a great way to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness of body is the first foundation of mindfulness that we learn and work with when developing a mindfulness meditation practice.
This guided meditation focuses on connecting with joy. Thru offering positive wishes of joy, happiness and well being to others we cultivate a sense of joy within ourselves. The Sanskrit/Pali word for this practice of taking joy in others' happiness is called "mudita". Cultivating joy or "mudita" is one of the positive mental states that mindfulness meditation practitioners focus on. Experience the beautiful heart quality this meditation offers.
This guided meditation is a practice of scanning the body using the Second Foundation of Mindfulness...mindfulness of Feeling Tone. In this meditation we explore the experience of feeling tones which are either pleasant, unpleasant or neutral throughout the body as a way of connecting to presence and cultivating mindfulness.
This guided meditation introduces spacious awareness into a mindfulness meditation practice. When we learn to create space, and we practice this opening up and expanding, this mental stance of spacious awareness…it allows us to hold our experiences with more ease and less reactivity. It helps us build a resiliency of the heart…the ability to be with whatever is arising…..and when difficulty arises, it helps make things more workable.
The ability to calm the mind, collect the attention and create space is key to unleashing the conditioned mind of reactivity and stepping into the freedom of wise response. Learn how to "Find the Pause" in the breath and create space to choose your wise response.
